Criteria and procedure for recognizing inventors named on issued patents/copyright/trademarks
Marquette University will recognize current faculty and staff who have carried out research that has resulted in an issued patent and/or registered copyright. The patent(s) must be current and actively held by the university.
Students who are named on the above patents will also be recognized at the Patent Recognition Awards.
The recognition will be in the form of an Award Certificate.
Award Certificates will be given to each of the above patent holders listing all of his/her issued patents.
Awards will only be given once per patent.
Holders will be invited to present a poster describing their patent/s.
Criteria and procedure for recognizing inventors who are named on filed patent applications/copyright/trademark
Current faculty and staff who are named as an inventor on a pending patent application will be invited to present a poster detailing the information of the filed patent application.
There should be one poster per filed patent application.
Students who are named on the above filed patent applications will also be invited to take part in the poster presentation.
