Thank You for visiting the Center for Intercultural Engagement (CIE). On behalf of the CIE and the Division of Student Affairs, we warmly welcome all Marquette undergraduate and graduate students, prospective students and families, alumni, and community members.

The primary focus of the Center for Intercultural Engagement is to enhance the overall quality of the Marquette experience of underrepresented diverse students by supporting, facilitating, and promoting academic, social, cultural, and personal success. The Center provides supplemental resources to support student development and growth in the areas of leadership education and training, social justice education, student advocacy, retention and mentoring programs, community outreach, and diversity celebration.

The CIE is a student-centered space available to all community stakeholders seeking to engage in areas of diversity and student support. Through our services, we strive to develop a community of men and women for others by working with students and student organizations to plan, promote, implement, and evaluate programs. The Center is located on the first floor of the Alumni Memorial Union, Room 111, and consists of a student lounge, meeting/study area, and staff ready to assist you. Students can use the lounge for studying, relaxation, and socialization between classes and includes a television and two computer workstations. The Center can be reserved for meetings, programs, and activities.

We are here to support and engage a community of Marquette scholars. Stop by to develop, pursue, and achieve!

We look forward to seeing you at the Center for Intercultural Engagement!
