Disclaimer: These instructions are used when you want to forward your Marquette e-mail to a different e-mail provider. Please note that IT Services cannot guarantee delivery or fidelity of attachments when your e-mail is sent to another service provider.

To set E-mail Forwarding

Open your browser and log on to eMarq
Click Options (under your username, top right)> Create an Inbox Rule.

Click Options > Create Rule.

Click the down arrow beside New > Create a new rule for arriving messages.


Click Create a new rule for arriving messages

Under * When the message arrives, and: click the down arrow beside Select one and select [Apply to all messages].

Click Select one > [Apply to all messages]

Click the down arrow beside Do the Following and select Redirect the message to…

Under

The Address Book – Webpage Dialog will open. Enter your forwarding address in the Message recipients text box and click OK.

Under Message recipients, enter your forwarding address.

Then click More Options…

Click More Options.

Click Add Action.
Click the down arrow.
Click Move, copy, or delete > Delete the message and click Save.

Click Delete the message.

To remove the E-mail Forwarding


Click Options (under your username, top right) > See All Options.
Click Organize E-Mail (1.)
Check the rule you made to forward e-mails (2.)
Click Delete (3.)

Click organize e-mail, > the rule > Delete.

A warning message will appear that you are deleting the rule. Click Yes. Click Yes again.
