  2. I applied to Marquette University as a student. How do I set up my security answers and password for the first time?

  4. When do I need to use security questions to reset my password?
Once you have set up the security questions, if you have forgotten your password or if your password has expired, you can reset your password without needing to call the IT Services Help Desk. Just answer your security questions. If your password is known and has not expired, you can still change your password using a current method.

You will receive email message warnings from IT Services 7 days and 14 days before your password expires.

Revisiting the Answers Registration website deletes your previous password recovery answers. However, you can assign new answers as needed.

Note that the answers you give need not accurately answer the questions; the answers only need to be memorable to you.

  14. I forgot my password recovery answers. How do I change them?
If you still know your username and password, login to the Answers Registration website and register new answers. Here's how. If you forgot your password, contact the IT Services Help Desk at (414) 288-7799.
