Marquette University has a standardized Computer Replacement Program for desktop and laptop computing needs. The main objectives for this program include:

  • Standardization of desktop/laptop units
  • Effective life cycle management
  • Reducing the total cost of ownership for professional computing technology on campus

This program has been in existence since fiscal year 2004. It is the goal of this program to replace a quarter of the computers on campus each year. It will take several years to achieve a fully funded replacement program due to funding constraints and expanding inventory.

CRP Guideline

This annual program is meant to benefit Marquette University faculty and staff by replacing one quarter of Marquette University purchased, owned and operated personal computers on campus. Grant purchased and supported computers are not eligible for inclusion in this program. Additional personal computers purchased by the university for other reasons will be reviewed independently by IT Services and the Office of Finance and may or may not be included in the program depending on the purpose and use.

If you have any questions or comments regarding the Computer Replacement Program, please contact the IT Services Help Desk at (414) 288-7799.
