These Web technical standards are followed in designing university websites.
- The interface should be designed to accommodate 1024 x 768 desktop monitor resolution (i.e. all key elements should be contained within a window no wider than 955 pixels).
- Pages will be coded to be printer-friendly.
- All content and coding should be tested to accommodate (i.e. offer a consistent appearance) the following browser/platform combinations:
- Internet Explorer 7, 8 and 9 (Windows Vista and Windows 7)
- Firefox 3.0 and higher (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6)
- Safari 4 and higher (Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6)
- Google Chrome 8 or higher (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6)
- JavaScript enabled
- Connection Speed: Cable/DSL
- Colors: Dark Blue (#003366), Medium Blue (#003399), Gold (#FFCC00)
