Marquette was named winner of the 2009 Award for Institutional Excellence in Information Communications Technology from ACUTA (Association for Information Communications Technology Professionals) for the Unified Messaging (UM) Project. Unified messaging replaces voicemail systems and e-mail servers with one integrated system. Marquette President Rev. Robert A. Wild, S.J., presented IT Services with the national award on April 29, 2009.
