The updated CheckMarq system will be available in late July. An e-mail message will be sent to all students when the upgraded system is available. In the meantime, log in to CheckMarq and read NewsBriefs for updates.
- I registered for fall in the old CheckMarq system. Will my class schedule be available in the upgraded CheckMarq system?
Yes, all of your academic, financial and personal information will be available in the upgraded CheckMarq system.
- How different is the upgraded CheckMarq system?
The upgraded CheckMarq system may look different at first; however, the end result is the same. For example, class registration has three distinct steps, and the system will guide you through each of them. The class search function is easier than ever to use, and it groups discussions, labs and quizzes together with appropriate lectures. Prerequisites are also clearly listed. Furthermore, you will have quick access to your advisor’s contact information and any registration or transcript holds on the first page after log-in.
- Will my username and password change?
No. Your username and password will not change.
- Will the Snapshot schedule of classes still be available?
Yes. The Snapshot schedule of classes will still be available at http://www.marquette.edu/soc
- Can I order my transcript from the upgraded CheckMarq system?
Yes. The upgraded CheckMarq system will offer the same services, including Enrollment Verification and Transcripts.
- Will I be able to add/drop classes for fall in the upgraded CheckMarq system?
Yes. You will be able to add/drop/swap classes for fall in the upgraded CheckMarq system in late July. You will receive an e-mail when you are able to use the upgraded CheckMarq system. Until that time, use the current CheckMarq system for any changes to your summer or fall class schedules.
- Will CheckMarq be unavailable at any time during the upgrade?
Yes. CheckMarq will not be available July 23 – 28. These dates are subject to change.
