History: Founded in Leavenworth, 1858, the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth self-identify with the post-nominal initials, “S.C.L.” and taught at St. Stephen's Mission school (Arapaho, Shoshoni), St. Stephens, Wyoming, 1888-1890.
