History: Founded in Italy, 1895, and inspired by St. Francis Xavier, the Xavierians (a.k.a. Xavierian Missionaries) self-identify with the post-nominal initials, “C.F.X.” They made their first U.S. foundation, 1946, and have administered St. Aloysius Church (Eskimo), Tanana, Alaska, 1995-present.
