History: Founded in Belgium in 1862, the Congregation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary made its first U.S. foundation in 1919. It administered the following mission parishes among Native Americans:

Holy Rosary Mission (Choctaw), Philadelphia/ Tucker, Mississippi

Maria, Reina de las Americas Church (Maya), Mount Olive, North Carolina
