History: St. Patrick Church, Madras, Jefferson County, Oregon, has been a predominantly non-Native American parish in the Diocese of Baker (Archives: Redmond, Oregon). Baker diocesan priests at St. Patrick’s have attended to Native American parishioners of the Warm Springs Reservation station (Paiute, Walla Walla, Wasco), Jefferson County, 1955-present.
