Index to the Catholic Directories for the United States with Appended Countries, 1817, 1822, 1833-, Mark G. Thiel
Describes the annual arrangement and content of the directories with special notes on microfilm editions, the use of church directories in historical research, and significant changes such as publishers and appendices on the church in foreign countries.
Mail order copies are available. For each copy, enclose $5.00 (includes postage and handling) plus $0.28 Wisconsin and Milwaukee County sales tax for copies to be mailed within Wisconsin. Please make checks payable to Marquette University (Federal EIN #39-080-6251) in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank and mail to: Department of Special Collections and University Archives, Marquette University Libraries, P.O. Box 3141, Milwaukee, WI 53201-3141. Sales tax is not required for copies mailed out of state or to in-state purchasers providing a tax-exempt number.
