Hilltop Staff Working on the Yearbook in the Basement of Johnston Hall (1921)

Between 1915 and 1950 the University maintained a printing press in the basement of Johnston Hall.  The basement offices were home to various university publications, including The Marquette Tribune and Hilltop student yearbook.  Student publications still reside in Johnston Hall today, such as The Marquette Tribune and Marquette Journal.
