Johnston Hall

Library on Second Floor Johnston Hall (1947)

Marquette University's first library was located on the second floor of Johnston Hall.  Often overcrowded, many students opted to study at the Milwaukee Public Library, just east of campus.  Memorial Library opened in the mid 1950s and the old library was renovated into a broadcast studio.
