Telescope in the Observatory of Johnston Hall (1917)

Rev. James L. McGeary, S.J., a respected astronomer during the early 20th century, led many students on astronomical observations.  On March 15th, 1907, the senior class made their first astronomical observation in the observatory.  The dome was removed during a renovation of Johnston Hall in the 1980s.
