American Accounting Association
Full text is provided for fifteen accounting journals.

American Chemical Society Journals
Provides full-text access to the electronic journals published or co-published by the American Chemical Society (ACS.)

American Psychological Association PsycArticles
Full-text (PDF) access to articles published by the APA.

American Society of Civil Engineers Online Journals (ASCE)
Full-text (PDF) access is provided for those journals to which Marquette maintains a subscription.  Gzipped PostScript files are available for some articles.  Coverage begins with 1999 for most of the journal titles.  Full-text article availability varies by journal title but most have full-text available beginning with 2000 through the current issues.  Older issues provide table of contents access only.

American Society of Mechanical Engineering - ASME Journals
Full-text access to eighteen ASME journals to which the Marquette Libraries subscribe in print.

Annual Reviews
Provides online full text access to 34 Annual Reviews covering the Biomedical, Physical and Social Sciences.

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Digital Library
Conference proceedings, newsletters, publications by affiliate organizations, special interest groups (SIGs) as well as the journals, magazines and transactions of the ACM.  This digital library can be searched or browsed.

Astrophysics Data System
The Astrophysics Data System (ADS) is a NASA-funded project which maintains four bibliographic databases: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Instrumentation, Physics and Geophysics, and preprints in Astronomy.  The main body of data in the ADS consists of bibliographic records, which are searcheable through the Abstract Service query forms, and full-text scans of much of the astronomical literature which can be browsed.

ATLASerials (VPN required for off-campus access)
The ATLASerials (ATLAS) project will provide full-text, searchable access to more than 60 journals in two phases.  ATLAS Phase I is a collection of more than 50 digital-image journals.  The collection will continue to grow.  Printing articles are available by using the print function on the web browser.  Phase II will be full-text (XML) and searchable, enabling users to highlight, cut and paste, and then print text from all included journals.

BioMed Central
BioMed Central is a commercial open access publisher.  The research articles in it's 130+ peer-reviewed journals are immediately freely available.  Other content such as reviews is not free.  The link above leads to an alphabetical list of the journals.  For a journal list organized by subject areas, click here.

CJO (Cambridge University Press Journals Online)
Marquette subscribes to 41 titles published by Cambridge University Press. Full-text access is provided for these journals and access is provided to the tables of contents for non-subscribed journals.

Electronic Journal Miner
Web resource to identify e-journals on subjects of interest to you.  Titles can be browsed alphabetically or by LC subject heading.  Searches can be limited to free or peer reviewed publications.

Elsevier Online Journals
The Libraries subscribe to over 200 journals published by Elsevier's Web Editions.  Full text access is provided for the most recent twelve months only.

Emerald Fulltext
Provides access to over 100 full text journals in the following disciplines: management, librarianship and engineering.

Highwire Press
Highwire Press provides access to a number of journals published by various societies.  This site lists all of their journals and when the full-text becomes available.

IEEE Xplore
Provides full-text access to over 104 IEEE Society-sponsored transactions, journals and magazines published since 1988. Full-text files are in PDF format.  The 'Search' feature will also display IEEE Conference Proceedings records and Patent citations which are not available full-text online.

IOP (Institute of Physics) Journals
Provides full-text access to journals published by the Institute of Physics (IOP) for those journals to which the Marquette Libraries subscribe in print. Access to the table of contents is available for those IOP journals to which Marquette Libraries do not subscribe.

JSTOR
Includes full-text back files of nearly 400 of the most important journals in Business, Ecology, Economics, Finance, Management, History, Mathematics, Political Science, Population Studies, Language, Literature and Science. Entire text of each journal is searchable.

Liebert Online
Full-text access to 55+ journals in biomedical research/life sciences, biotechnology, clincal medicine/surgery, complementary/alternative medicine, engineering/infomatics, law, psychology, and public health/policy.

MDConsult
Includes full-text articles from over 80 clinical journals, Clinics of North America and yearbooks.  Full-text coverage is available from 1995 or 1996 to the present for most titles.

Additional features include the full-text of 38 standard medical reference books and Mosby’s GenRx, with information on over 30,000 medications.

POIESIS
POIESIS offers searchable online access to a single database containing the full text of current, recent, and back issues of a growing number of philosophy journals.  Every word in every journal issue in the database is fully searchable, including all articles, book reviews, footnotes, announcements, and notices.  Users can view up to a paragraph of text around each "hit;" many journal titles also allow full text display.  More than 70 journals are currently licensed for the project, and current and/or recent issues of 40 philosophy journals are now in the POIESIS database. 

Project Muse
Provides full-text access to journals published by the Johns Hopkins University.  Project Muse contains the full text of over 190 journals with emphasis on the humanities including literary theory, history and cultural studies. Other disciplines included are political science, film, theatre, and performing arts.

PsycArticles
Contains searchable full-text articles from 50 journals published by APA and allied organizations from 1988 to the present, with earlier years in production.  The articles are in html format and include internal links to tables, figures, and references.

PubMed Central
A web-based archive of journal literature for all of the life sciences. It is being developed by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM).

Provided by Cambridge Scientific Abstracts Sage Full-Text Collections contains journals in the following subject areas:

Listing of open access (no charge) scholarly and scientific journals.

E-Journals.org
Maintained as part of the World Wide Web Virtual Library E-Journal.org is a listing of online journals arranged by subject discipline.

Electronic Journals and Newspapers: University of Pennsylvania
A comprehensive listing of electronic periodicals and newspapers, arranged by general subjects or by titles.  Also includes a list of major publishers and distributors of electronic journals.

Scholarly Journals Distributed Via the World Wide Web
This directory from the University of Houston Libraries provides links to established Web-based scholarly journals that offer access to English language articles without requiring user registration or fees.

Scholarly Societies Project
A set of links to full-text archives of newsletters and other serial publications of scholarly societies, compiled and maintained by the University of Waterloo Library
