Contains over 4000 current funding programs that support research and performance in literature, language, linguistics, history, philosophy, religion, and the arts. These programs fund research, travel, internships, and performances in the USA and Canada.  Also has an excellent subject index.

Features programs that offer research funding for projects in medicine, the physical and social sciences, the arts and humanities, and education. Contains detailed listings of grant programs and a subject index.

The Foundation Directory. New York: The Foundation Center.
Arranged by state, this directory lists the name, address, purpose, and financial data of all American foundations with more than $2 million dollars in assets or annual grants exceeding $200,000.  The Foundation Center also publishes The Foundation Directory, Part 2 as well as subject specific directories of private foundations.  The web version, Foundation Directory Online, incorporates all of these Foundation Center publications.  It is available on any Raynor Library workstation.

A comprehensive listing of private U.S. foundations that provide financial assistance to individuals. Profiles foundations, including information on program descriptions, limitations, and application information.  The web version, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, is available on any Raynor Library workstation.
