July 2006--Effective July 3rd all notices from Raynor Memorial Libraries will be sent only via e-mail. Library records for all borrowers--faculty, staff, administrators, and students--have been updated for e-mail notification. Types of notices include overdue, recall, ready/pick-up, and hold cancellation. E-mail notices from Circulation and Class Reserves carry the following subject: Marquette library notice. Interlibrary loan (ILL) users registered for ILLiad already receive their ILL notices via e-mail. Library notices are sent to the borrower's eMarq address (marquette.edu), for which Marquette community members are responsible. Users who prefer to use another address can forward their e-mail in accordance with IT procedures. Some categories of library users are exempt from this policy change: emeritus, retirees, non faculty Jesuits, and courtesy card holders will continue to receive paper notices by postal mail.
