An internationally-known medieval scholar, Professor William Calin has authored eleven books and over a hundred articles and chapters in books. In addition, he has presented over two hundred papers and lectures. His areas of expertise include medieval literature (epic, romance, allegory); French poetry (Renaissance to the present); Occitan (Provençal), Anglo-Norman, and modern Breton literature; and Franco-British literary relations in the Middle Ages and Renaissance.
