Conversations on Women and Research |
![]() |
| Join the conversation! All members of the faculty and interested graduate
students are invited to join a series of informal, noon-hour Conversations led by current
researchers in the area of women's studies. Each session will feature two faculty members discussing
their current research and the state of gender research in their discipline. Time will be allowed for
questions and exchange with others in attendance. A light lunch and beverage will be provided.
The Conversations series was conceived as a way of honoring the centennial of women at Marquette while offering an opportunity to learn about the wealth of ongoing women's and gender-related research on campus. The themes of the series are as diverse as the professoriate--immigrant women, women's health, women and the workplace, gender and media, family and violence, feminist philosophy and spirituality, and much more...
