International Poetry Reading

April 2012—Raynor Memorial Libraries and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures are hosting an international poetry reading in celebration of National Poetry Month.

April 24 (Tuesday)

11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Raynor Library Conference Center

ALL ARE WELCOME -- The reading is open to all Marquette students, faculty, and staff. Schedule a time to read your favorite non-English poem; or just come as your schedule permits, bring a bag lunch, listen, and enjoy. Light refreshments will be available.

Celebrate our diversity through poetry: past years' readings have included native speakers and students of Spanish, Ancient Greek, Latin, Italian, German, Hebrew, Portuguese, Japanese, Sicilian, Chinese, and more! Readers should bring a printed copy of the poem as well as a printed English translation.
