March 2013 -- Faculty and graduate students in the STEM disciplines are invited to attend this 75 minute workshop that will present the background information and specific tools necessary for researchers to track the calculated impact of a given research article or a researcher’s body of work. The workshop is led by the four Raynor Memorial Librarians with liaison roles to the Health Sciences, Engineering, and Science departments.
Specific tools such as journal impact factors, Eigenfactors, h-indices, citation counts, and alternative metrics will be discussed and demonstrations provided.
