NIH Public Access Policy Compliance Training

NIH Public Access Policy
Compliance Training

Please join Raynor Memorial Libraries and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs for an informational and hands-on session regarding the revised National Institutes of Health (NIH) Public Access Policy. NIH will delay processing of an award if publications arising from it are not in compliance with the Public Access Policy.

Attend one of two trainings so that you stay in compliance:

January 9, 10-11 a.m.
January 22, 1-2 p.m.

Raynor Library * Room R245

These training sessions are designed to provide an overview of the policy, highlight resources available, and walk you through the electronic system that will show whether or not your grant-related publications are in compliance. If you have an NIH Commons username and password, please bring it with you. If you have graduate students involved in your research and publishing, they are welcome to attend as well.

Additional resources can be found on the Raynor Memorial Libraries website and the NIH website.

Policy notices, which will affect new and non-competing continuation grant awards with a start date of July 1, 2013 or beyond are available, NOT-OD-10-103 and NOT-OD-13-042.
