DiscoveryGate is a multi-database system which includes more than 20 million structures, 11 million reactions and 350 million calculated and reported physical properties. It covers the areas of bioactivity, pharmacology, metabolism and toxicology and provides information on purchasing chemicals.

PC users outside of Raynor Memorial Libraries and all PC laptop users will need to download client software. Mac users do not need to download client software to use DiscoveryGate.

Provides information on the biological activities of small molecules.  It includes substance information, compound structures, and bioactivity data via the three primary databases: PubChem BioAssay, PubChem Compound, and PubChem Substance.  Current information only.

SciFinder Scholar is a research tool designed to access chemical literature in databases provided by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS).  Two versions are available: client-based software (available on Raynor Memorial PCs and available for download) or via a web-based client.  Registration is required to use the web-based version.

This database contains records for more than 2 million doctoral dissertations and master's theses.  Also included is the full text content for nearly 900,000 dissertations.  Includes extensive coverage of North American graduate schools, with coverage of some European universities beginning in 1989.  Includes bibliographic record of dissertations written in the United Kingdom and Ireland from as far back as 1716, with full abstracts, for titles available from 1986 in 'ProQuest Dissertations and Theses.  A separate database contains the subset of Marquette University doctoral dissertations in full text.

Contains bioactivity screens of chemical substances described in PubChem Substance.  It provides searchable descriptions of each bioassay, including descriptions of the conditions and readouts specific to a screening protocol.   More than 170 bioassays are included.  Each bioassay contains a various number of data points.
