What is MARQCATplus?

Two significant enhancements over the traditional online catalog: interface and collections searched.

Interface:

MARQCATplus offers a powerful keyword search. This Google-like search facilitates discovery of hard-to-find items contained in the tables of contents, notes, \ and more. While search results may be more numerous, options are readily available for narrowing. See above tab: Faceted Display.

This interface searches across several Marquette collections and returns the findings in one, integrated display.

Collections searched:

• New! Journal Articles: Now, full text articles matching the search words are displayed as "Top Results for Articles" on the search results page. Articles are drawn from Proquest Research Library and Ebsco's Academic Search Complete. To select specific databases or perform more precise searches, use the "Articles" tab in the blue "Find Resources box on the Library home page.

• e-Archives: digitized materials from Marquette’s Special Collections and University Archives
  
  
• e-Publications: papers, reports, dissertations & other documents by Marquette authors (coming soon)
