Science.gov is an interagency cooperative providing a unified search of the government’s scientific and technical information.  30 databases and over 1,700 web sites are included.  Material is selected by the following agencies: Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health & Human Services, Interior as well as the Environmental Protection Agency, NASA, National Science Foundation, and the U.S. Government Printing Office.  Science.gov mainly provides citiations and in some cases abstracts.

Produced by the Buros Institute of Mental Measurements at the University of Nebraska, Tests in Print (TIP) serves as a comprehensive bibliography to all known commercially available tests that are currently in print in the English language.  Tests in Print provides information to users including test purpose, test publisher, in-print status, price, test acronym, intended test population, administration times, publication date(s), and test author(s).   A score index permits users to identify what is being measured by each test.  TIP is directly linked to the critical, candid test reviews published in the Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY) series.  Users can research current test information from the TIP series and continue their search to all available test reviews published in the MMY series.

Virginia Henderson International Nursing Library from Sigma Theta Tau International
Provides data and information about nursing research.  There are two main components of the library - The Registry of Nursing Research includes information on nurse researchers, their research projects, and the findings of their research.  The Online Journal of Knowledge Synthesis for Nursing is a full-text peer reviewed publication with articles that synthesize research on various topics, note the implications for clinical practice, and make recommendations for future research.  The Registry began in 1997 but includes some prior material.  The Online Journal of Knowledge Synthesis for Nursing began in 1993.

Combines Science Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index, and Arts and Humanities Citation Index in one source.  Indexes can be searched individually or combined.  Search by words in author, title, keyword, abstract, journal title and author affiliation fields.  A unique Cited Reference Search feature allows ‘forward’ searching by locating articles that have cited an older document.  1980 to present.  VPN recommnded for off-campus access.
