Carrels are small, lockable offices within the library that graduate students (and some faculty) may apply for. Here you’ll find information about them and about the application process.
The Circulation Desks in both Raynor and Memorial Libraries handle book check-outs and returns, recalls for
library material checked-out to another user, and all notices and bills for overdue material. The Raynor
Circulation Desk is located just inside the turnstiles and the Memorial Circulation Desk is located on
level 2 next to the Bridge. The Raynor Library Circulation Desk also has network cables and cables to
connect laptops to the LCD screens in the group study rooms.
Raynor Library has two computer classrooms that faculty and staff may reserve for occasional use. All such
requests will be reviewed by the Library's Research and Instructional Services Department.
The Conference Center in Raynor Memorial Libraries provides comfortable meeting spaces for university
academic and administrative needs. Located in the lower level of the library, the center can accommodate
events ranging from small meetings up to larger conferences with attendance up to 120 persons. The rooms
are capable of a variety of physical and technological configurations providing flexibility for meetings
There are 11 copier/printers in the Raynor Memorial buildings, including two color copier/printers. Check
the floor plans for specific locations.
Raynor Library offers 16 study rooms for groups of students. To ensure access for as many students as
possible, the rooms are generally available on a first-come, first-served basis. Here is more about
