developed and maintained by the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI), U. S.
Department of Energy, uses a single query to search multiple science resources
including Information Bridge, E-print Network, Science Conference Proceedings, DOE R&D
Accomplishments, Energy Citations Database, DOE R&D Project Summaries, Federal R&D
Project Summaries, DOE Patents, and Energy Files.
- CiteSeer - a search engine and digital library that
focuses primarily on the scientific literature in computer and information science. Provides
useful metadata including cited references, reference linking, related references,etc.
- Energy Citations Database - bibliographic
records for energy and energy-related scientific and technical information from the Department of
Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies, the Energy Research & Development Administration
(ERDA) and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). Some full text documents available.
- Information Bridge - provides free public access to
full-text documents and bibliographic citations of Department of Energy (DOE) research report
literature. Documents, primarily from 1994 forward, were produced by DOE, the DOE contractor
community, and/or DOE grantees and include the areas of physics, chemistry, materials, biology,
environmental sciences, energy technologies, engineering, computer and information science,
renewable energy, and other topics of interest to DOE's mission.
- NTIS - largest
