newspapers. However, they are not a guaranteed source, only a

The following are standard biographical
reference directories for business.
- D&B Reference Book of
Corporate Managements (REF HD 2745 .D85)
- Standard & Poor's Register of Corporations, Directors, and Executives
(REF HG 4057 .A4)
Databases:
- Biography
and Genealogy Master Index: Indexes more than 700 current and
retrospective biographical sources. Does not include full-text, but refers the user
to biographical information in other sources. Includes over four million contemporary and
historical figures.
- Biography
Resource Center: full-text biographical information on more than 250,000
people from throughout history, around the world, and across all disciplines and subject
areas.
- Thomson
ONE Banker: go to the 'Filings' tab, then look particularly in the 10-K report for biographical information
on executives, and in the Proxy Statements for biographical information on board members.
- Wall
Street Transcript: provides transcripts of interviews with CEO's and other
high-level corporate executives, and transcripts of interviews with investment analysts
and money managers. Includes brief biographical information on the
interviewees. 1997 - present.
