Housing

Because home-stays offer more opportunities to use Spanish on a daily basis and more intimate exposure to Spanish culture, the majority of students stay in private homes with Spanish families, which are approved and arranged by the Marquette Study Center.

Students may opt to live in private apartments; however, such arrangements must be made by the student.

Fall: During the first two weeks of orientation, students reside in a colegio mayor with other Spanish students. After this point, students move to their respective host families.

Spring: Spring semester students reside in a hostel for the first 14 days, then move in with their host families.
