Fall and spring students are expected to register for 14-16 credit hours. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours to maintain status as a full-time student.
Summer students will take a 3 course sequence (either beginner/intermediate or advanced level) worth 6 credits.
All courses taken at the Marquette Study Center in Madrid whether
Reunidas or Complutense courses, are considered Marquette courses and
are calculated into Marquette students’ grade point average.
Non-Marquette students should check with their home institutions to
determine credit and grade transferability. According to Universidad
Complutense requirements, to receive credit for courses, you must take
your final examinations on the specified date at the Madrid campus.
No exceptions to this rule are made.
Therefore, you should not schedule
your departure from Madrid prior to the conclusion of exam week.
All credit for course work is granted by Marquette University. If you
are a non-Marquette student, your transcripts will be sent to your home institution upon request at the end of your final semester of study.
All students in the
program must supply Transcript Request Form at the time of application.
Attendance
Class attendance is mandatory.
Outside trips and visits are to be scheduled during official program
vacations, not during class time. Failure to adhere to this requirement
may result in dismissal from the program.
