Application Requirements

Marquette Students

All applications received from Marquette students are reviewed together after the application deadline.

1. General Marquette Study Abroad Requirements

2. One additional academic recommendation from a
    Spanish  professor (use our Recommendation form      -required for Semester or Academic Year  
    applicants  only
)

3. $250 deposit (required for Summer study only)

Non-Marquette Students

All applications received from non-Marquette students are reviewed on a rolling basis, in the order they are received.

1. Marquette en Madrid Application form

2. Two recommendations from (use our

    Recommendation form):

Professor from any discipline

Spanish professor

3. Official transcripts from all institutions attended

4. $250 deposit (required for Summer study only)

4. Study Abroad Advisor form

5. Transcript Request form

 

Application Deadlines

Oct. 1st: Spring Study

March 1st: Summer, Fall or Academic Year study

All qualified undergraduate students enrolled in any accredited college or university in the United States are eligible to apply. Students from all areas of study will be considered for admission to the program based upon scholarship, character, general health, and potential to act as a good representative of their home universities and country. The admissions committee will look closely at your entire application packet, focusing primarily on your academic record and recommendations. 

To reserve space in the program if you are admitted, you must submit a non-refundable $250 deposit, which will be applied toward your tuition.
