Engage the World

A Marquette education puts students in touch with the world.

Engineers speak a language all their own — and that’s when they’re from one country. How about when they work on global cross-cultural teams? A new College of Engineering initiative connects students and faculty with peers at the universities of technology in Kracow, Warsaw and Poznan, Poland, as a first step toward stimulating cultural and technology transfer. “In this age, our grads will almost certainly be members of international teams. We’re making sure they’re prepared,” says Mark Polczynski, engineering manager of the engineering management graduate program
