The Final Frontier

iPod tours are new alternative

Visitors won’t have the unmatched personalized experience of Marquette’s traditional student-led campus tours, but this technology twist provides another option. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Alumni Memorial Union have unveiled a self-guided video iPod tour. Campus guests can check out iPods and grab maps from the union information desk. The video tour is already loaded to lead visitors around and through the entire campus.

The iPod tour was developed to accommodate visitors who haven’t made appointments but are here and want to see the sights. It’s an especially helpful choice during evening hours and weekends when the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is closed. Students and families may also download the tour to their own iPods or watch the tour online.
