Marquette Magazine catches up with Father Pilarz and Larry Williams, Marquette's vice president and director of athletics, as they attended a news conference in New York on March 21 to announce details of the reconfigured BIG EAST conference. It's the culmination of a process that began even before seven core members — Marquette, Villanova, Georgetown, St. John's, Providence, Seton Hall and DePaul — decided to part ways with the former conference's football schools.
