Friday Photo: Ice ahoy!

Photos by Matthew Bin Han Ong, Comm '12

Even if ice skating is second nature to you, you probably remember the first time you tried putting on those scary metal blades and wobbled like jelly. That's exactly how some new international students felt when they joined a recent ice skating trip organized by Marquette's Office of International Education at Red Arrow Park.

"It exceeds 100°F where I come from in Kuwait, but I have experience skating," says sophomore Aishah Al Fadhalah, who coordinated the trip. "It's evil, but new skaters are actually fun to watch."
