What's this white stuff called again?

Forgive us for being a little out of practice when it comes to this thing called winter, but this season has hardly been typical. After all, January at Marquette usually looks something like this:

But the snowless streak finally broke Thursday. Mykl Novak, Arts '92 and Grad '10, web development manager for Marquette's Information Technology Services, captured this before and after in a Dear Marquette-style photo he shared on his Marquette-themed Tumblr page.
