A well-earned gift


On the eve of Commencement, Rev. Scott R. Pilarz, S.J., offered the Baccalaureate Mass homily and gave the following advice to Marquette's newest alumni:

Be faithful to the circumstance of your life. Be attentive to the movements of your heart. Neglect nothing of your humanity. Be assured that the Lord is as near as the next moment and whatever it brings.

Nearly 500 graduates were recognized Dec. 16, 2012, at Milwaukee's U.S. Cellular Arena with a well-earned (and early) holiday gift — their diplomas.
