Alumni in the House
Scott Walker (R) became the first Marquette alumnus to be elected governor of Wisconsin on Nov. 2. Walker attended Marquette from August 1986 to May 1990.
Prior to becoming governor, Walker served nearly nine years in the Wisconsin State Assembly before he was elected Milwaukee County executive in a special election in 2002.
Walker is joined by a number of alumni, listed below, who were elected or re-elected to office at the state and national levels on Nov. 2.
