Did you have a Danny Pudi sighting on campus or at the game over the weekend? You weren’t alone.
Pudi, Comm ’01, and Chris Marrs, Comm ’98, were in town shooting footage for their upcoming project for ESPN Film’s 30 for 30. The film short, titled Untucked, will feature former Marquette basketball star Bo Ellis, Sp ’77, and the famous uniform he designed for the team.
Pudi and crew filmed with Ellis as he wandered around his old stomping grounds reliving college memories and chatting with former teammates and current students. Stops included Saturday afternoon’s game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the Al McGuire Center, the Old Gym and Schroeder Hall, where Ellis toured his old residence hall room and marveled at how he ever fit his 6-foot-9 frame into the twin bed.
Untucked will hit the Web later this year. In the meantime, check out Pudi and Marrs when they’re back on campus March 2 for a Late Night Marquette event (9 p.m., location TBD).
