The Manresa experience is steeped in the model of spiritual growth and development inspired by St. Ignatius. Through these programs, you have opportunities for reflection, retreat and deeper exploration into the most imortant questions and choices of your life.
Christian Leadership Retreat
Approximately 50 incoming students who share a desire to put their faith and leadership potential into action in their new Marquette environment gather for a retreat experience prior to New Student Orientation. Guided by the Marquette mission, students will reflect upon their leadership skills, trace their faith development, meet new people with similar interests from diverse backgrounds, and build a strong foundation from which to begin their Marquette career.
Experienced student leaders guide these discussions, activities and prayer opportunities to help students identify their own skills and reflect on how God has been walking with them on their life journeys. Guest faculty, administrators and young alumni talk about their own faith and values and the ways the Marquette experience creates a fertile environment to explore life's most important questions.
