Partners in Ministry
Where Action and Reflection Meet

In light of the Manresa Project’s continuing mission of promoting discernment and vocation among students, we are offering a new groundbreaking program titled Partners in Ministry.  Our goal is to aid local community parishes and churches by providing university students to act as catechists, confirmation leaders, Christian formation instructors, youth leaders, and various other faith-based work opportunities.  We feel that in addition to serving the surrounding community, Partners in Ministry is here to support the students themselves in their spiritual call and discernment.   Through group reflection and in light of the student’s parish work, we seek to provide support, reflection and discussion that deepen a student’s exploration of their own personal service and call to God.

New Opportunities for Fall 2008

The Manresa Project has opportunities for students to work within local parishes and to reflect upon their pastoral roles, leadership experiences, and own spiritual journey in the service of the Christian community.

The Partners in Ministry program is intended to give students valuable field experience in a ministry setting, opportunity for reflection upon their spiritual and vocational journey, and practices and tools to aid in future discernment and decision-making.  Students receive a small semesterly stipend for their work.
