CampusVocation in Action

Vocation in Action is a new program sponsored by the Manresa project that is directed at providing real- life accounts chronicling the vocational journey's of Marquette students, faculty and administration. Every two weeks you will find a new reflection that informs, inspires, and challenges you to ask the question, "How and where am I being called?"

Catholics on Call

What do you really want to do with your life? Who do you want to be? How do you know if you're on the right path? How is God speaking to you about your career choice?

These aren't easy questions for anyone,   especially for young adults. You may feel a little lost, like you are just drifting. Sometimes you need the help of others in finding answers.

Catholics on Call insists young adults to reflect on God's call in their lives. We reach out to people like you - men and women of college and post-college age - who may be considering the possibilty of life of service in the Church as a lay minister, religious sister or brother, or priest.  Through this website and through the programs that we offer, Catholics on Call can help you learn more about the opportunities of service in the Church and about listening to God's call in your life.

Check out their website: Catholics On Call

Catholics on Call also provides programs and information for those who minister to and with young adults. Vocation directors, campus ministers, and other pastoral ministers can visit this site for updated program information and inspiration relating to your ministry. Catholics on Call is a program of the Bernardin Center at Catholic Theological Union and is funded by the Lilly Endowment Inc.

Multicultural Theology Videos

Students in three Marquette University undergraduate theology courses have produced "Four Minute Movies" that profile the faith lives and accomplishments of contemporary Christians.  The thirty-six people profiled include equal numbers of men and women, some well-known and others not,  from the U.S., Europe, Latin American, and Africa. These documentary style videos are arranged thematically on three DVDs. Each one contains twelve profiles, runs approximately 55 minutes, and is accompanied by a Viewer Guide. Please click on the link below to access some brief clips from seven of the "Four Minute Movies". For a full description of the DVDs and to order contact Michael Duffey.
