I stand on the shoulders of giants; everyone helped me get where I am and everyone expects me to do well with the life they have given me. I will not let anyone down.

2013 MARQUETTE COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN
Wednesday, September 25, to Wednesday, October 16
Proceeds support the United Way of Greater Milwaukee, the United Performing Arts Fund and our own scholarship aid initiative. This year, the Campaign goal is to reach 100 percent participation from the campus community and raise $350,000 for the three priorities.
This year's campaign is now closed. If you would like to make a gift or have questions, please contact Amanda Cose at firstname.lastname@example.org or (414) 288-4467.
UPAF provides crucial operational support to a diverse and nationally recognized group of performing arts organizations. UPAF funded organizations touch over one million people through performances, educational outreach, special events and community outreach every year.
UPAF member organizations include: Bel Canto Chorus, Danceworks, First Stage Children's Theater, Florentine Opera Company, Milwaukee Ballet, Milwaukee Chamber Theater, Milwaukee Children’s Choir, Milwaukee Public Theatre, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, Next Act Theatre, Present Music, Renaissance Theaterworks, and Skylight Opera Theatre.
United Way focuses on the community’s most serious problems through strategic investments in Education, Income and Health. In partnership with more than 160 programs at 80 local agencies, United Way helps hundreds of thousands of people in our community each year.
The reach extends beyond Milwaukee County and its central-city neighborhoods into suburban and rural areas throughout Ozaukee, Washington and Waukesha Counties. Investing only in programs that produce measurable results, United Way operates at a high rate of efficiency with 90 cents of every dollar invested into community problem solving. This year, people in our community will rely on United Way for help. Your donation will ensure that help is there.
Scholarship aid continues to be Marquette University’s highest priority. Giving the gift of scholarship ensures that the Marquette experience enjoyed by so many past generations is accessible to current and future students as well.
Funds can be directed to one or more of the Scholars Funds, including funds supporting students from a specific college. Other areas to which you can direct scholarship support include: the Blue & Gold Fund, which allows donors to support scholarships for Marquette student-athletes; the Bridge to the Future Fund, which directs assistance to a current Marquette student who has experienced a personal change in financial circumstance; and the Urban Scholars Fund, which provides scholarships for excellent, hard-working students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Milwaukee and Chicago communities. More information regarding scholarship aid at Marquette can be found at givemarquette.com.
Additional Marquette Priorities
In addition to scholarship aid, benefactors can support other Marquette priorities, which can be found on the giving form.
As in the past, our donors have the additional opportunity to write in any fund of their choosing using our convenient online form.
