Michael and Maria Laskowski Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate student or a senior intending to attend graduate school at Marquette University (excluding the schools of dentistry and law).  Applicant must reside in Wisconsin or be attending school in Wisconsin and be of Polish ancestry or have studied Polish language, history, society, or culture.  Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Intercollegiate Studies Institute Graduate Fellowships

Several fellowships are available to current graduate students or applicants to graduate school who are majoring in American History.

Joseph A. O'Hare, S.J., Post Graduate Writing Fellowship
Amount:  Varies
Deadline:  January 30, 2017

Applicant must be graduating seniors from a member institution of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities with a cumulative 3.0 or higher GPA.  Applicant must be a legal U.S. resident and be familiar with the Roman Catholic tradition and have some appreciation for the role of the Catholic media in the U.S.  The writing fellowship requires a 12-month commitment.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Scholarships
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  January 31, 2017

Applicants may be sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate students who are AIAA student members in science or engineering programs related to aerospace.  Applicant must have a GPA of at least 3.3.

Josephine de Karman Ph.D. Fellowship
Amount:  $22,000
Deadline:  January 31, 2017

Applicant must be a Ph.D. candidate who will defend their dissertation in or about June 2018.  Applicant should have outstanding letters of recommendation, significant publications, and have completed several chapters of the dissertation at the time of application.

ANS Scholarships
Amount:  Varies
Deadline:  February 1, 2017

Several scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students completing a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field.  ANS student membership is required.

Arthur S. Tuttle Memorial Scholarship
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  February 10, 2017

Applicants must be a member of the American Society of Engineers (membership applications may be submitted with scholarship application).  Scholarship funds are for civil engineering graduate study leading to a Master's degree.

Daniel B. Goldberg Scholarship
Amount:  $12,000
Deadline:  February 10, 2017

Applicant must currently be a full-time student in a graduate program that prepares students for careers in state and local government finance.

DAR Centennial Scholarship
Amount:  $2,500
Deadline:  February 10, 2017

Applicant must be pursuing graduate study in the field of historic preservation at a college or university in the U.S.

William Robert Findley Graduate Chemistry Scholarship
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  February 10, 2017

Applicant may be any graduate student enrolled full-time in an accredited chemistry program with a 3.25 or higher GPA.

WI CPA Educational Foundation Scholarship
Amount:  $2,500 and $5,000
Deadline:  February 24, 2017

Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident who is attending a Wisconsin college or university with an accounting program that qualifies the applicant to sit for the CPA exam.  Applicant must have completed 120 credit hours of a degree program that qualifies the applicant to sit for the CPA exam and be entering their last year to satisfy the 150-hour requirement resulting in a Master's degree in business, or a double major/minor to satisfy the 150-hour requirement.  Applicant must be full-time and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Institute for Humane Studies PhD Scholarship
Amount:  $1,500
Deadline:  February 28, 2017

Applicant must be a full-time graduate student who will be enrolled in a PhD program during the 2016-17 academic year. Preference is given to applicants doing work in the humanities and social sciences, particularly economics, history, philosophy and political science.

LAGRANT Foundation Scholarship for Graduate Students
Amount:  $5,000
Deadline:  February 28, 2017

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and be African American, Asian American, Hispanic or Native American.  Applicant must be a full-time graduate student, have a 3.0 minimum GPA, major in a field of study that has an emphasis in public relations, marketing or advertising and have a minimum of 2 semesters to complete Master's degree.

American Society of Naval Engineers Scholarship
Amount:  $3,000 or $4,000
Deadline:  March 1, 2017

Applicant must be at the senior or graduate level and be majoring/concentrating in the following areas: marine, mechanical, civil, aeronautical, electrical, and electronic engineering, naval architecture, and the physical sciences.

SR Education Group Graduate Scholarship for Teachers
Amount:  $5,000
Deadline:  March 18, 2017

Applicant may be any teacher pursuing a graduate degree.

Communicative Disorders Scholarship Program
Amount:  $1,000
Deadline:  March 30, 2017

Applicant must be accepted into a graduate level program in speech language pathology and/or audiology at a college or university, accredited by ASHA’s Council on Academic Accreditation.  Applicant must also have a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA.

Cobell Scholars Program
Amount:  Varies
Deadline:  March 31, 2017

Applicant may be any U.S. Federally recognized American Indian or Alaskan Native student who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and who demonstrates financial need.

"No Essay" Scholarship
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  Last day of every month

Applicants may be anyone looking to attend college or graduate school within 12 months.

Graduate School Scholarship
Amount:  $1,000
Deadline:  Quarterly

Applicant may be any current student who is working towards a graduate-level degree.

Applicant may be any graduate Business, Engineering or Pharmacology student enrolled at an accredited U.S. university. Applicant should demonstrate an interest in serving the needs of others.
