The Chicago Metro Chapter of the American Public Works Association Scholarship Program

Applicant must be planning to attend college during the Spring or Summer 2016 semester at the undergraduate or graduate level and major in a course of study that encompasses the field of Civil, Environmental or Construction Engineering, Public Works Administration or other programs within the public works field.  Candidates must reside within the geographic boundaries of the Chapter.

American Concrete Institute Graduate Scholarship Program
Amount:  $3,000
Deadline:  October 18, 2015

Applicant must be accepted for graduate study at an accredited institution in an engineering, architecture, or material science program.  The graduate study program shall be in the area of concrete with an emphasis on structural design, materials, construction, or any combination.

Roy Scrivner Memorial Research Grant
Amount:  Up to $12,000
Deadline:  November 1, 2015

Applicant must be an advanced graduate student with focused research on lesbian, gay and bisexual family psychology, and lesbian, gay and bisexual family therapy.

American Shotcrete Association Graduate Scholarship Program
Amount:  $3,000
Deadline:  November 2, 2015

Applicants must be a full-time first or second year graduate Engineering student studying in the area of concrete.

The Associated General Contractors of America Graduate Scholarship
Amount:  Up to $7,500|
Deadline:  November 2, 2015

Applicant must be a college senior enrolled in an ABET or ACCE-accredited construction or civil engineering program, or a person possessing an undergraduate construction or civil engineering degree from such an accredited program. The applicant must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student in a construction graduate degree program or a part-time student on one of AGC's recognized masters'/doctoral programs for the Fall term of 2016.  Applicants must also have at least one full academic year remaining as Fall 2015, i.e., at least two more semesters.

Dorothy Budnek Memorial Scholarship
Amount:  $600
Deadline:  November 15, 2015

Applicant must be an active member of Association for Radiologic and Imaging Nursing (ARIN) for at least three years, possess a current nursing license and be returning to school to advance their nursing education.

Applicant may be any student pursuing an undergraduate, graduate or medical degree who is interested in the study of cardiovascular health or the pursuit of a career in the healthcare industry.

Nursing Scholarship

Applicant must be a current graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing degree.

William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fellowship for Minority Students
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  November 20, 2015

Candidates for this fellowship are highly motivated, current, non-graduating graduate or undergraduate students from underrepresented communities of color.  See website for other requirements.

Thermo Scientific Pierce Scholarship Program
Amount:  $5,000 and $10,000
Deadline:  November 24, 2015

Applicant must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student for the Spring 2014 semester.  Applicant must also have a declared major in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related life science field and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Health Wonk Scholarship
Amount:  $1,500 and $2,500
Deadline:  November 30, 2015

Applicant may be any current, full-time master's or doctoral student working in medicine, public health, nursing or related field at an accredited U.S. university or college.

Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team Education Scholarships
Amount:  $1,000
Deadline:  December 1, 2015

Applicant may be any Nursing, Physical Therapy, Medical or Law student who will be enrolled in their respective program the following year, or is currently enrolled, and will continue to be enrolled through the following academic year.

"No Essay" Scholarship
Amount:  $2,000
Deadline:  Last day of every month

Applicants may be anyone looking to attend college or graduate school within 12 months.

Graduate School Scholarship
Amount:  $1,000
Deadline:  Quarterly

Applicant may be any current graduate student who is in good academic standing and has committed no crimes.

Applicant may be any graduate Business, Engineering or Pharmacology student enrolled at an accredited U.S. university. Applicant should demonstrate an interest in serving the needs of others.
