Ethnic Alumni Association (EAA) Ralph H. Metcalfe, Sr., Scholarship

The intent of the scholarship is to provide up to three Marquette students of color with gifts of up to $2,000 each for the next academic year. The scholarship is designed to aid students of color who demonstrate financial need and Marquette values. One scholarship will be awarded to an Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) student and one to a non-EOP student. The third scholarship will be awarded based on recommendations from the selection committee.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be African American, American Indian/Alaskan Native, Hispanic, or Asian.
  • Be currently enrolled at Marquette University and maintain full-time undergraduate status in 2016-17.
  • Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 on a scale of 4.0.
  • Have demonstrated financial need (including filing a FAFSA form).
  • Submit completed application by Monday, February 1, 2016.

Please note: students receiving tuition remission or full-tuition scholarships are not eligible for this award.
