Welcome from the Chief

Welcome to the Marquette University Police Department website. I am truly honored to lead MUPD and serve the Marquette community. As chief of MUPD, I take the issue of safety very seriously, and I will continue to strive to make the Marquette campus a safe place to live, learn and work.

Marquette’s urban setting is an integral part of the Jesuit college experience, and Marquette invests significant resources to promote safety and security on campus. MUPD will remain vigilant in its protection of the campus community, but safety is a shared responsibility. To emphasize this collaborative effort, the department will work tirelessly to educate the Marquette community on ways to live and work safely in an urban environment. MUPD will continue to do everything possible to ensure the safety of our students, faculty, staff and surrounding neighborhood.

I pledge to run a department centered on collaboration, communication and transparency. I invite you to explore the website for important safety guides, tips, and resources to increase your safety and security on campus.
