Hey, what’s up? Hello! My name is Geraldyn, but feel free to call me Gerry. I was "braised" in San Diego, California, and I am currently a sophomore in the College of Nursing. Now, I know what you’re thinking, "Why would you move from San Diego to Milwaukee?" Well, besides the opportunity to study as an Air Force ROTC cadet and perform in incredible fashion and cultural shows with our Filipino student organization, Bayanihan, Marquette and Milwaukee have so much more to offer for me and for you. To understand what I mean, I’d love to invite you to come along and experience the adventures so many of us here have at home. Welcome to Marquette!
My entire family is very musically inclined. Whether it’s singing, playing guitar, piano, or saxophone—you name it, it’s kinda weird but—WE THRIVE OFF OF MUSIC!
Deciding to come to Marquette University has been one of the greatest decisions of my life. No flowery language needed to justify this statement.
My faith and spirituality are super important to me. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Got Mary?
I’m totally the adventurous type! I love experiencing new cultures and weather. Why do you think I came to Milwaukee from San Diego?
I look like a tourist whenever I visit home because San Diego amazes me every time.
Potato chips are one of my many weaknesses for snacks. This one was especially tasty!
Mahal ko ang Bayanihan Student Organization! (translation: I love BSO!) So excited to serve as historian this year for them. They are like my family away from home.
