What’s up, Golden Eagles? The name is Mike. I am a senior here at Marquette studying political science and international affairs. Have you heard that Marquette students “bleed blue and gold”? Well, it's true. Deciding to come here was the best decision I have ever made. Check out my videos, and I will show you why. I intern with Marquette's Office of Public Affairs, work as a tour guide for the university and live just a few blocks off of campus. Tune in for a look at My Marquette!
I am the assistant opinions editor for the Marquette Wire, the university’s multimedia news source. I love my job, especially when working with radio and TV. Here, I am hosting a radio show called Coast to Coast, a sports talk show I did with my roommate Riley.
I spent a semester studying at the Les Aspin Center for Government in Washington, D.C. While there, I learned all about policymaking and interned with Evans & Katz LLC, a campaign finance firm in the city. I learned so much and got to spend five months in this wonderful city.
Actually, the Newseum in Washington, D.C., might be my favorite place in the world.
I have the best family in the world.
My friends are pretty great, too. We call ourselves the "Stoop Kids" ... clearly.
I bleed blue and gold. I honestly can’t imagine going to school anywhere else. This is me walking into my freshman dorm room in O’Donnell Hall. I was terrified here in this photo, but realized soon after how great Marquette really is.
I am from Boston and the Red Sox are my favorite professional sports team, period. I’m an avid Patriots, Bruins and Celtics fan, but only after the Sox. Here’s my little bro outside Fenway.
One of the best things I have ever done was travel to Haiti. After my two trips there, I have decided that I would like to join the Peace Corps after graduation.
